untitled interrogation short

this is another final i had that semester, though this was a group project. for this one, i handled the boom mic and sound recording equipment. it was definitely a challenge with how much our actors fluctuated in volume, plus the room didnt have great acoustics, but it could be much worse. one thing i definitely regret is not giving a lav mic to the suspect character and just using the boom mic.
our professor gave us feedback on a draft, saying that it needed some kind of music, and right after class i started sketching a small piece to include. my group liked it, so i spent a couple more hours on it, and with that, i scored my first ever film project! theres some things i didnt do too well, especially the delay on the kick, and i may have completely forgotten to pan anything, but i think it fits really well.
unfortunately i dont know where the actual finished copy is, so heres a copy that i made when i was composing the score. i believe this is before any audio editing, which i had no part in, so forgive me and the actual editor if some dialogue is difficult to hear. i promise we did not just use the raw audio for the final cut. this version also has considerably lower video quality so i could save on storage, so sorry about that too
